Birth Celebration of Prophet Mohammad and Imam Sadegh
Dear friends,
We are pleased to inform you that the Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa is organizing a gathering to celebrate the auspicious birth of Prophet Mohammad Mustafa (pbuh) and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (pbuh).
This event will include competitions for adults and children, live music performance, recitations, toy drive (for the Children’s Hospital), homemade sweets for sale, Eid greetings, and refreshments.
Time: Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 5 pm to 7 pm

Toy Drive Campaign for CHEO
As we approach the birth anniversary of the Prophet of Kindness, who dearly loved children 🤍👧🏻👦🏻🤍, we warmly invite you to join our annual campaign in support of our very own children’s hospital (CHEO).
Ways to Participate:
- 💸📧 Monetary Donations with Tax Receipts
If you wish to make a cash donation, you can complete this form and donate your desired amount either by email or in person. A tax receipt will be issued for your generous contribution.
- 🧸🪥🛍️ Purchase of New Toys and Hygiene Items
If you prefer to purchase toys and hygiene products, please refer to this list provided by CHEO. Kindly bring your purchased items to the centre on the day of celebration (September 21) for donation.
- 👩🏻🍳🧁👨🏻🍳 Selling Homemade Sweets and Desserts
If you are interested in preparing homemade sweets and desserts to sell during the event, with all proceeds going to the campaign, please let us know as soon as possible.
We extend our deepest gratitude in advance for your generous support in any of these ways, helping us create sweet 🍰😋, blessed 🪽🦋, and memorable moments!
Additionally, CHEO’s beloved representative, the Kind Bear 🧸, will be visiting the children during the event, just like last year 🤩.
