Eid al-Fitr Prayer

Dear friends,

Hoping that you have had a blessed Ramadan, IHCCO invites you to join us as we hold the Eid al-Fitr congregational prayer in two sessions on Friday, April 21, 2023 and Saturday, April 22, 2023 followed by breakfast at the Community Cultural Centre (CCC) newly located at 58 Antares Dr, Unit 8, Ottawa, ON K2E 7W6. The hourly schedule of the program is as following:

• 9 AM, Eid prayer
• 9:45 AM, dine-in breakfast

Please note that:

🦠 Participants should have no symptoms of illness.

📍 Parking directions will be posted later on IHCCO’s social media.

♿️ Venue is on the ground floor.

Children’s Green Aid Campaign for Eid

For those of you who would like to donate your Sadaghat, Zakat or Kaffarah to help a number of underprivileged families and children in Iran, kindly e-transfer them to campaign@imamhossein.ca. We will then take care of transferring them to Emad House, a trusted Iranian NGO supporting children suffering from severe diseases whose families brave living away from their home for the treatment process. Our effort, as always, is to have some Canadian companies match donations.

Please make sure to:

🔹 Include Sadaghah, Zakat, Kaffarah, or Sadat Zakat, where applicable, in the message line of the e-transfer.

🔹 Make a separate e-transfer for each category or clarify the category of amounts in e-transfer message so that we could put the money to work the right way.

Ramadan Donation Drive Campaign

As announced earlier, Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa in collaboration with other Islamic centres in Ottawa cordially invites you to this campaign to support the women fleeing abuse and homelessness in our beautiful city of Ottawa. Required items are still collected!

In the spiritual moments of Ramadan, you can take part in this philanthropic cause by providing items such as new toys, women’s sanitary products, toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpastes, lip balm), juice boxes, new kitchen supplies, new towels and slippers and clothing. You may bring in your generous donations to IHCCO no later than April 28, and leave them in the drop off boxes located at our place.
