Eid al-Fitr 2021 Programs

Dear friends,

Hoping that you have had a blessed Ramadan, IHCCO invites you to join us as we hold the Eid al-Fitr prayer virtually on Thursday, May 13th, 2021, 8 to 8:30 am on our live broadcasting page. 

Children’s Green Aid Campaign for Eid

For those of you who would like to donate your Sadaghat, Zakat or Kaffarah to help a number of underprivileged families and children in Iran:

Kindly e-transfer your Zakat/Kaffarah to campaign@imamhossein.ca. We will then take care of transferring it to Emad House, a trusted Iranian NGO supporting children suffering from severe diseases whose families brave living away from their home for the treatment process. Our effort, as always, is to have some Canadian companies match donations.

Please make sure to:

•       Include Zakat, Kaffarah, or Sadat Zakat, where applicable, in the message line of the e-transfer.
•       Make a separate e-transfer for each category (Zakat, Kaffarah, or Sadat Zakat) so that we could put the money to work the right way.

We are also glad to let you know that as part of their third week of Ramadan Festival, our beloved kids have also participated in this campaign to help their underprivileged friends in Iran by saving money in their moneyboxes. They are also going to donate some of their gently used clothes, toys, etc. to their friends in need in Ottawa.

Eid Kabab

We are also excited to let you know that IHCCO is going to hold a fundraising program with a touch of Iranian Kebab! You could order by filling out this form by Thursday, May 6th. Your orders will be delivered to your doorstep to complement your Eid celebration. The money raised will be put to enhance IHCCO’s cultural activities.
