Fatemieh Program
Dear friends!
It is to inform you that Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa (IHCCO) will be hosting a program in the loving memory of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (pbuh) on Saturday, December 16, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Community Cultural Centre (CCC).
We’re honored to have Dr. Farhad Ghoddoussi as our guest speaker in this program to deliver a Persian lecture on “The Historical Character of Lady Fatima in Light of the Fadakieh’s Sermon”. The program will also include congregational prayer, Quran recitation, mourning ceremony, refreshments, and special program for attended kids.
If you’d like to support this program, please e-transfer your donations to finance@imamhossein.ca with the message of “fatemieh”.
To attend the ceremony, please note that due to our venue capacity limit and in order to provide a safe environment for everyone, we would have to implement a limited registration policy for our guests. Hence, registration is mandatory and only those who have registered are allowed to attend. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in advance.
Green Aid for Gaza Children Campaign
In the spirit of compassion and unity, IHCCO proudly joins hands with Islamic Relief Canada to launch the “Green Aid for Gaza Children” campaign. This initiative, held in memory of the Holy Prophet’s beloved daughter, Lady Fatima, aims to promote our religious teachings of Infaagh and caring about other human beings, and also alleviate the suffering of children caught in the midst of conflict and genocide in Gaza.
Your support will directly benefit the “Group Therapy for Kids in Gaza” program, providing essential emotional and psychological support for the young souls enduring the harsh realities, in addition to providing emergency aids. For a detailed breakdown of how your generous donations will be utilized, please refer to the attached brochure. Let’s come together, make a difference, and sow the seeds of hope and healing for the resilient children of Gaza.
Join us in making a meaningful impact. Kindly donate on our dedicated page. Donors will receive tax receipt from Islamic Relief Canada.
Keep us in your prayers,
