Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa (IHCCO) cordially invites you to its distinguished event, the “In Canadian Society” series, addressing pertinent social concerns and opportunities within our nation by raising awareness, and providing key information and useful resources.

We recognize that discussing this topic is difficult, but at the same time, it is essential to understand which organizations to contact for funeral arrangements; the extent to which customs, rituals, and personal preferences can be observed; the options available for those who wish to be buried in Iran, and the associated costs. We know this subject may bring feelings of homesickness or anxiety, but we hope this meeting, with insights from experienced members of the Iranian community in Ottawa and the Imam Hossein Centre, will provide valuable guidance and a sense of peace.
Your presence and participation are highly encouraged as we collectively explore the challenges and opportunities inherent in the Canadian experience. We look forward to your thoughtful contributions to this enriching dialogue. Discussions are in Persian!
