Ramadan Donation Drive Campaign

Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa in collaboration with Nisa Homes, Sakeenah Canada, Who Is Hussain, and 6 other Islamic centres in Ottawa cordially invites you to this campaign to support the women fleeing abuse and homelessness in our beautiful city of Ottawa. This mission is done by providing a safe home to heal, support services to rebuild, an environment to explore cultural identity, and opportunities to flourish upon moving out into the community.

In the spiritual moments of Ramadan, you can take part in this philanthropic cause by providing items such as new toys, women’s sanitary products, toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpastes, lip balm), juice boxes, new kitchen supplies, new towels and slippers and clothing. You may bring in your generous donations to IHCCO at Layali al-Qadr programs and other times not later than April 28, and leave them in the drop off boxes located at our place.

Nisa Homes and Sakeenah Canada are non-government, not-for-profit charitable organizations that provide a safe haven and support services to women, children and families who are experiencing homelessness and/or domestic and family violence, poverty or seeking asylum. These organizations have shelters in Ottawa too.

Keep us in your prayers,
