IHCCO Cultural Courses in Fall 2022

Dear friends,

It is to inform that the Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa (IHCCO) offers the following cultural courses in Fall 2022, from September 12 to December 18, held at the Community Cultural Centre (CCC). Each course includes 14 sessions.

Registration: There are limited spots in all classes. If no spots were available, you may register to the waitlist of that class. Please register here no later than September 7.

There are a variety of discounts for members, CCC contributors, students, and families, which have been explained below. Note that 40-100% of tuition fees is donated to the IHCCO per request of instructors, including the religious courses which their entire tuition fees is donated to the IHCCO to develop its cultural programs.

🔸Painting and Creativity: 6-10 yo | Saturdays 11am-12:30pm | $280

🔸Design and Painting (basic to advanced): 10+ yo | Saturdays 1pm-3pm | $280

🔸Persian Calligraphy (ghalam): 7+ yo | Wednesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm | $140

🔸Persian Calligraphy (pen): 7+ yo | Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm | $140

🔸Quran Recitation and Nasheed: 12-18 yo | TBD | $60

🔸Quranic Edutainment of Ottawa: 3-6 yo | Thursdays 6:30pm-7:30pm | $60

Discounts:

  • 20% OFF – CCC Contributors: Families who contribute at least $100 per month to the rental of CCC. Use the discount code of “contributor” on the checkout page.
  • 20% OFF – IHCCO Members: Use the discount code of FLYYYMMDD – formed by your initials in uppercase, followed by your date of birth – on the checkout page.
  • 10% OFF – Post-Secondary Students: Use the discount code of “student” on the checkout page. Student cards will be requested.
  • 10% OFF – Family Bundles: Families who more than two members of them register to these courses. Registration of all family members should be done at the same time.

Discounts cannot be combined. Also, the used discounts will be verified and the registrant was not eligible, their registration will be revoked and they will be refunded.
