Terrorist Attack on Muslim Family in London, ON

The Muslim community in Canada is shocked by what Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called a terrorist attack motivated by hatred happened Sunday evening in London, ON.

We are deeply saddened to hear about this hate-motivated incident. Our hearts go out to the family who were targeted and innocently killed just because they were Muslim, and our fellow citizens affected by this dreadful news.

A vigil is planned by members of the Muslim community in Ottawa on Tuesday night (this afternoon) at 7pm in remembrance of the Muslim family killed in London, ON. This gathering takes place at the Human Rights Monument at Elgin and Lisgar. Please wear masks and practice physical distancing.
