Condolences on Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Hossein

When we reach Muharram, we remember Ashura and Hussein (peace be upon him) …

Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) brought all of his possessions to Karbala in order to uphold the word of truth and to save humanity. The incident of Karbala occurred when the Imam refused to swear allegiance to the falsehood of the time. This ultimately resulted in the martyrdom of the Imam, his companions, and the captivity of his family. After 1400 years, humanity still thirsts for the lessons of the “School of Ashura” – a school that revolves around God-centeredness, purity, and sacrifice.

Our love for Hossein is deeply ingrained in our being. We should never live without this love, nor should we die without it.
