Imam Reza Children
Dear friends,
The heartbreaking loss of the young elementary school children of “Shajareh Tayyebeh School” in Minab, along with all the children of Iran who have been taken from us in these days, has deeply wounded our hearts and souls, leaving us in a shared grief…
For this reason, as the blessed birthday of Imam Reza (pbuh), the compassionate Imam, approaches, and as part of the “Helping Hands” campaign of the “For Iran” initiative, we gather together in solidarity to keep alive the memory of these little heavenly angels and to transform this sorrow into an act of giving and support. It is worth noting that the total amount of donations from our three recent campaigns, after matching, was $25,900, all of which was allocated to the charities mentioned in each of the programs.
In remembrance of the Imam of kindness, and with the continued support of our dear volunteers, the Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa will be holding a memorial program alongside a fundraising event. The program will include:
🔸 Preparing and selling burgers as a contribution to this collective effort
🔸 Children creating handicrafts together and offering their work
🔸 Adults and children setting up booths to sell food, handicrafts, or other items
We kindly ask those interested who would like to set up a booth, please contact us here by Friday, May 1.
🟢 Donate to Campaign – Those who are unable to attend but would still like to contribute may send their donations via e-transfer to campaign@imamhossein.ca by Saturday, May 9.
All collected funds, after being matched, will be fully donated to the “Emad House” foundation, a residence supporting children undergoing bone marrow transplant.
Let us, in this shared mourning, join hands and light even the smallest candle together…
