The Imam Hossein Cultural Centre of Ottawa (IHCCO) is proud to launch Hope & Healing with Hossein, a heartfelt campaign in support of the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS). Cancer has touched the lives of so many within our community – we’ve lost loved ones, witnessed the struggles of friends and family, and felt the deep impact of this devastating disease.
Now, we have an opportunity to make a difference. By coming together, we can raise funds that fuel groundbreaking cancer research, provide critical patient support services, and advocate for policies that improve cancer prevention and treatment across Canada.
Join the Challenge
Be part of a national movement of like-minded individuals committed to saving lives and honoring those we’ve lost. Set a challenge for yourself this April:
🏃 Run 80 km OR 🚶 Walk 50 km – or go at your own pace!
How to Get Involved
✅ Step 1: Choose your challenge – run or walk as much as you can throughout April.
✅ Step 2: Spread the word! Encourage your family, friends, and colleagues to support you by donating to our $2,000 goal on our fundraiser page on the CCS website. You will receive a tax receipt from CCS for donations of $20 or more.
✅ Step 3: Share your journey! Post photos or videos of yourself or your progress on Instagram, mention @imamhosseinottawa in your stories, and use #CancerAwareness and #HopeHealHossein to inspire others.
